Depending on your and their settings, when you connect with other members, you may seek out their connections to share professional opportunities.

You can also choose to allow us to use your exact location or proximity to other members for certain tasks (e.g., to suggest other members near you, to calculate travel to a new job, or to notify your connections that you are attending a professional event).
You have a choice whether to invite someone to our services, send a connection request, or allow another member to become your connection. We use the personal data available to us to research social, economic, and workplace trends, such as job availability and the skills needed for those jobs, as well as policies that help bridge the gap across industries and geographies. In some cases, we work with trusted third parties to conduct this research under controls designed to protect your privacy. We publish or allow others to publish economic insights that are presented as aggregate data and not as personal data.

3.2 Archiving communications
Regulated Members may need to store communications outside of our service.
Some Members (or their employers) may need to archive their communications and social media activity for legal or professional reasons and will engage the services of others to provide these archiving services. The sharing and use of this personal information will be described in or linked to a consent window if you choose to link the accounts. For example, you may link your Twitter or WeChat account to bring content from our services into those other services, or your email provider may give you the option to upload your t4-pro.com contacts to its own service. Third-party services have their own privacy policies, and you may give them permission to use your information in ways that we would not. You can revoke the link with such accounts.
Depending on your settings, excerpts from your profile will appear on others’ services (e.g., search engine results, mail and calendar applications that show a user limited profile information about the person they are meeting or messaging, social media aggregators, talent and lead managers). The “old” profile information will remain on these services until they update their data cache with the changes you have made to your profile.

3.6 Legal information
We may need to share your information if we believe it is required by law or to protect the rights and safety of you, us or others.
We may need to disclose information about you if required to do so by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or if we have a good faith belief that disclosure is reasonably necessary to (1) investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected or actual illegal activity or to assist government law enforcement authorities; (2) enforce our agreements with you; (3) investigate and defend against claims or allegations by third parties; (4) protect the security or integrity of our Services (e.g., by sharing with companies subject to similar threats); or (5) protect the rights and safety of t4-pro.com. e.g., by sharing with companies facing similar threats); or (5) exercise or protect the rights and safety of t4-pro.com, our members, employees or others. 4. Your choices and obligations
4.1 Data Retention
We retain most of your Personal Data for as long as your account is open.
We generally retain your personal information for as long as you keep your account open or as necessary to provide services. This includes data that you or others have provided to us, as well as data generated or derived from your use of our Services. Even if you only use our services every few years when looking for a new job, we will keep your information and profile open unless you close your account. In some cases, we may choose to retain certain information (e.g., insights about how the Services are used) in a depersonalized or aggregated form.

Residents in Designated Countries and other regions may have additional rights under their laws.
4.3 Account closure
We retain some of your data even after you close your account.
If you choose to close your t4-pro.com account, your Personal Information will generally no longer be visible to others on our Services within 24 hours. We generally delete information about closed accounts within 30 days of account closure, except as noted below.
We retain your Personal Information after your account is closed if reasonably necessary to comply with our legal obligations (including requests from law enforcement), to comply with legal requirements, to resolve disputes, to maintain security, to prevent fraud and abuse (for example, if we have restricted your account for violating our Professional Community policies), to enforce our User Agreement, or to comply with your request to “unsubscribe” from further messages from us. We retain depersonalized information after closing your account.
Information you have shared with others (e.g., through email, updates, or group posts) remains visible after you close your account or delete the information from your own profile or mailbox, and we do not control data that other members have copied from our Services. Group content and ratings or review content associated with closed accounts will show an unknown user as the source. Your profile may continue to appear in other people’s services (for example, in search engine results) until they update their cache.
